There are just so many things wrong with this painting (that Dunvegan discusses at length in his earlier post), I'll let you drink it all in for a minute for yourself:
For context, here's Wonkette:
A bunch of you have sent us a link to this painting by a fellow named Jon McNaughton, depicting the divine event that took place during the hot Philadelphia summer of 1787, when Jeebus flew to America from his ice cave on Pluto to deliver the U.S. Constitution to some brat before an in-studio audience consisting of George Washington, Mister Hollywood, Liberal News Reporter, Satan, and others.
This painting, and the man behind it, helps bring into stark relief something that has been building in my mind lately.

All the loony teabaggers, Glenn Beck worshippers, snake handlers, white Southern racists and Michelle Bachmann HATE us -- the liberals, the gays, the atheists, the apostates and anything else that runs across their field of fear, animus and anger that day. I mean real seething, bubbling, boiling, toiling and troubling HATE.
They view the lot of us as corrupt and fundamentally EVIL. They really do think that we -- in league with Satan (and maybe even Undead Hitler) -- are actively committed to the enslavement of America under Marxism and the demolishing of what they view as "Real America".
I don't think I'm being too hyperbolic here. This shit really scares me. Because what are these people going to do in the face of what they HATE and view as EVIL? Once enough people really internalize that Barack Obama is just as bad as Hitler was... then what?
Do we need another Oklahoma City bombing before conservative people in the mainstream wake up and stop feeding this festering wound that is only growing more infected and gangrenous by the day?
Seacrest out...
